摘要

Abstract

Based on the analysis of total resources,geographical distribution,stand structure,and existing problems of planted timber forests in Sichuan Province,this study proposes sustainable management strategies for such forests.The results indicate that the overall stock of plan-ted timber forest resources in Sichuan Province is relatively abundant,while geographical distribution is uneven,and the volume,age group,and tree species structure are not reasonable,which affects the ecological function and economic benefits of forests.In addition,issues such as outdated management techniques,lack of professional talent,threat of pests and diseases,and imperfect policies and management mechanisms are also factors that constrain the sustainable development of planted timber forests in Sichuan Province.To address these challenges,this re-search puts forward strategies such as optimizing stand structure,improving forest quality,strengthening technological support,promoting pre-cision management,innovating management models,promoting industrial integration,improving policy systems,and perfecting management mechanisms.The aim is to provide reference and inspiration for the sustainable management of planted timber forests in Sichuan Province.
