减量施用氮肥对玉米主要农艺性状及产量的影响
Effects of Reduced Nitrogen Fertilizer Application on Main Agronomic Traits and Yield of Maize

Abstract
[Objective]To clarify the effects of reduced nitrogen fertilizer application,based on local farmers'conventional practices,on maize agronomic traits and yield in the sandy grassland area of Yulin,Shaanxi Province.[Method]A field experiment was conducted using the maize cultivar Jinkeyu 3306.Six treatments were established:conventional N application,and reductions of 20%,40%,60%,80%,and 100%in the conventional N rate.The study examined the impacts of different nitrogen reduction levels on maize agronomic characteristics and yield.[Re-sult]The results showed that N reduction significantly affected plant height,ear length,ear diameter,number of kernels per row,and 100-kernel weight,but had no significant effect on ear height,number of ear rows,or grain yield.Treatment 2(20%N reduction)achieved the highest yield,averaging 12 722 kg/hm2,followed by Treatment 4(60%N reduction)with an average yield of 12 111 kg/hm2.[Conclusion]Under the condition of combined organic fertilizer application,reducing the conventional N rate by up to 60%does not lead to yield loss,while it lowers production costs and enhances environmental benefits.It is recommended to promote the combined application of organic and inorganic fertiliz-ers—specifically,increasing organic fertilizer use while appropriately reducing chemical N fertilizer—in maize production in the windy and sandy grassland areas of Northern Shaanxi to achieve high crop yield,efficiency,and agricultural sustainability.关键词
