摘要

Abstract

Secondary lower extremity lymphedema following cervical cancer treatment is a common complication, mainly manifested as painless swelling of the affected limb accompanied by heaviness and tightness, which can even lead to mobility impairment. How to effectively treat secondary lower extremity lymphedema remains a challenge in modern medicine.Professor ZHU Chaofu,a mentor for the inheritance program of renowned traditional Chinese medi-cine practitioners in Sichuan Province, has been engaged in tumor research for nearly 30 years and is skilled in using traditional Chinese medicine to treat adverse reactions caused by Western anti-tumor treatment. This article sum-marizes Professor ZHU Chaofu's diagnostic and treatment approach and prescriptions for secondary lower extremity lymphedema following cervical cancer treatment based on the theory of"Yang transforming into Qi,Yin forming into shape."The article tracks the treatment process of two patients, effectively reducing the degree of swelling and reliev-ing the tightness and heaviness of the affected limb.Traditional Chinese medicine treatment provides a novel diagnostic and treatment approach to solve this problem, but more clinical trials are needed to confirm the effectiveness of this method.
