Status and Countermeasure Suggestions of Xinjiang Tomato Industry

Abstract
Xinjiang is one of the world's three major processing tomato production regions,has established its processed tomato industry as a pillar of the local economy and a significant source of export earnings.This study systematically reviewed the development status of Xinjiang's processed tomato industry in terms of cultivation and production,market circulation,and processing technology,highlighting prominent issues such as insufficient production standardization,weak disaster resilience,and inadequate brand building.Building on this analysis and drawing on advanced domestic and international experiences,the study proposed countermeasures including accelerating technological innovation and production model transformation,establishing a comprehensive disaster prevention and control system,and implementing targeted market positioning and branding strategies,in order to provide references for promoting the sustainable and high-quality development of Xinjiang's processed tomato industry.关键词
