中国式现代化生态观对西方环境主义思潮的四重超越
The fourfold transcendence of the ecological view of Chinese path to modernization over Western environmentalism
摘要
Abstract
In response to the ecological and environmental crises generated by Western-style modernization,various schools of Western environmentalism have actively sought solutions.However,constrained by a dualistic perspective on the relationship between humans and nature,a reliance on environmental governance strategies within the capitalist framework,a tendency toward nature-centrism,and a theoretical orientation detached from concrete socio-historical and institutional contexts,Western environmentalism has ultimately failed to resolve the dilemmas of Western modernization under the dominance of capital logic.In contrast,Chinese modernization rejects the Western path centered on capital and materialism,and instead pursues a dialectical unity between ecological harmony and human well-being.Since the new era,the CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping at its core has advanced both practical and theoretical innovation in building a socialist ecological civilization,continuously enriching the ecological dimension of Chinese modernization and forming an ecological view with distinctively Chinese discursive characteristics.Grounded in historical materialism,this ecological view emphasizes a holistic and systematic understanding of the community of life,promotes a green development philosophy that transcends the"environment-development"dilemma,upholds a people-centered value orientation,and integrates ecological culture with environmental institutions.In doing so,it achieves a fourfold transcendence over Western environmentalist discourse.This view demonstrates a distinctive capacity to address real-world challenges and provides scientific guidance for advancing the Beautiful China initiative during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.关键词
