摘要

Abstract

China,as the world's largest tea producing country,is rich in tea tree resources.Tea(Camellia sinensis)flower,as the reproductive organs of tea trees,have the characteristics of long flowering period and high yield.Related studies have found that tea(Camellia sinensis)flowers are rich in functional components similar to tea leaves,such as tea polyphenols,catechins,tea polysaccharides,amino acids and flavonoids,and have physiological activities such as antioxidant,blood pressure lowering,blood sugar lowering,and enhancing immune function.This article summarizes the research progress on the biochemical composition and pharmacological effect of tea(Camellia sinensis)flowers,providing theoretical reference for the development and utilization of tea(Camellia sinensis)flowers as new resource foods,promoting the further development of tea flowers industry,and enhancing the overall added value of tea.
