Analysis of the Efficacy of Warm Acupuncture and Moxibustion Therapy for Cervical and Shoulder Myofascial Pain Syndrome Based on SWE Parameters

Abstract
Objective:Based on the parameters of shear wave elastography(SWE),to explore and analyze the effect of warm acupuncture and moxibustion on neck shoulder myofascial syndrome.Methods:110 patients with cervical and shoulder myofascial pain syndrome admitted to Yangzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from July 2022 to June 2023 were randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group,with 55 cases in each group.The control group was treated with manual palpation combined with warm acupuncture and moxibustion,and the treatment group was treated with warm acupuncture and moxibustion guided by manual palpation combined with multimodal ultrasound.The treatment efficiency,pain score VAS,SWE parameters(tissue elasticity score,Young's modulus,fascia thickness),neck disability index(NDI)score,surface electromyography(sEMG)parameters(average amplitude,average frequency slope),and quality of life(SF-36)and sleep index of the two groups were compared.Results:The difference in treatment effectiveness between the two groups was significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the pain level and SWE parameters decreased in both groups,and compared between the two groups after treatment,the above indicators were lower in the treatment group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the NDI of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group,and the average amplitude value and average frequency slope were higher than those of the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the quality of life of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group,and the sleep index was lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Warm acupuncture and moxibustion under the guidance of multimodal ultrasound for patients with neck shoulder myofascial pain syndrome can significantly improve the therapeutic effect of patients,and effectively relieve neck dysfunction and pain.SWE parameters and sEMG parameters provide objective quantitative indicators for the evaluation of therapeutic effect of warm acupuncture and moxibustion.关键词
