Abstract

In order to maintain the reactivity of the liquid metal modified micro-Al(GLM-Al)and prevent its oxidation during storage,which would lead to a decrease in the active aluminum content,fluoropolymer(F11)was coated on the surface of GLM-Al by using the solvent-non-solvent method to obtain GLM-Al@F11.Using it as the fuel,CuO as the oxidant,and NC as the binder,NC/GLM-Al@F11/CuO was prepared by 3D printing technique.The microstructure,composition,thermal oxida-tion and thermal decomposition properties,heat of combustion and burning rate of GLM-Al@F11 and NC/GLM-Al@F11/CuO were carried out by using SEM,EDS,XPS,TG-DSC,XRD,bomb calorimeter and high-speed photography.The results show that F11 is uniformly coated on the surface of GLM-Al.The heat of combustion of 1%fluoropolymer-coated GLM-Al@F11 and GLM-Al oxidation is comparable with 8680J/g and 9000J/g,respectively,which is 6 times that of Raw-Al(1 501 J/g).When stored in an open environment for 60 days,the heat of combustion of GLM-Al decreased by 1 513J/g,while that of GLM-Al@F11-1 remained basically unchanged after being stored for 120 days.When the molar ratio is 2.0,the exothermic reaction heat of NC/GLM-Al@F11/CuO is 2086J/g,which is 9.6%higher than that of NC/Raw-Al/CuO.At the same time,the combustion performance has been significantly improved.Neither NC/Raw-Al/CuO with Raw-Al as the fuel can be ignited,but NC/GLM-Al@F11-1/CuO with GLM-Al@F11-1 as the fuel can be ignited and burn stably.At the molar ratio of 2.0,its burning rate reaches the maximum,which is 7.8mm/s.
