Research on Active and Passive Coordinated Control Methods for Distributed Energy Storage Clusters

Abstract
With the rapid development of new distribution networks,an increasing number of fluctuating components such as distributed generation,electric vehicles,and photovoltaic systems are being integrated.This necessitates the widespread deployment of distributed energy storage systems to ensure the secure and reliable operation of power distribution and consumption.However,large-scale distributed energy storage entails high costs,complex operation and maintenance,and difficult control,especially in microgrid applications where strong support from the main grid is often unavailable.Therefore,a control method for distributed energy storage clusters in microgrids,specifically targeting microgrid application scenarios was proposed.Firstly,an energy storage unit charging/discharging control method was proposed.This method incorporated different objective strategies,enabling adaptive regulation based on the state of charge and demand while ensuring charging/discharging safety.Secondly,a method was presented that allows multiple energy storage units to achieve passive coordination capability through embedded control strategies even in the absence of communication.Furthermore,with communication support,multiple units can achieve superior active coordination capability.Simulation analysis shows that using this method can effectively support the secure operation of both the main grid and the microgrid under a microgrid architecture,even when communication is lacking,when communication is available,it can further enhance the operational performance of the grid and microgrid.关键词
