Application of single-cell sequencing technology in the study of TCM treatment of COPD from the perspective of"phlegm turbidity-blood stasis"pattern
摘要
Abstract
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)falls under the categories of"lung distension"and"dyspnoea pattern"in Chinese medicine,with"phlegm turbidity"and"blood stasis"running through the entire course of disease onset and progression.Owing to its multi component a nd multi target synergistic regulatory advantages,TCM has unique strengths in improving the quality of life and reducing the frequency of acute exacerbations in COPD patients.However,its mechanism of action still lack systematic microscopic elucidation.The development of single cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)technology provides a new perspective for in depth analysis of lung tissue cellular heterogeneity and dynamic changes in the pathological microenvironment in COPD.Based on the TCM theory of"phlegm turbidity-blood stasis",this paper systematically summarizes the roles of key cell subpopulations in mucus hypersecretion,chronic inflammation,and vascular remodeling in COPD.It highlights recent advances in scRNA-seq applications for studying cell-cell communication networks and signaling pathways.Furthermore,it reviews the molecular mechanisms by which TCM interventions regulate key cell subpopulations and signaling pathways to remodel the pulmonary microenvironment.The aim is to provide modern cytobiological evidence for the traditional TCM pathogenesis theories and to offer new insights for precise intervention and mechanistic research of TCM in the prevention and treatment of COPD.关键词
