Abstract
[Objective]The purpose of this study is to construct a discrete element model of hybrid sugarcane stalks,accurately calibrate its bonding parameters,and to optimize the design of cutting knives with the use of DEM-MBD simulation,guiding the design and optimization of cutting devices by this method.[Method]The discrete element model of hybrid paper mulberry stems was constructed using a three-axis spatial coordinate method.Design Expert software was used to sequentially design Plackett-Burman experiments,steepest ascent experiments,and Box-Behnken experiments.By comparing the simulated and experimental results of the stem peak shear force,the accuracy of the model parameters was verified.A systematic analysis of the working principle of the cutting device was carried out,and the structural parameters of the cutting blade were optimized.A DEM-MBD method was used to construct an interaction model between hybrid tree stems and a reciprocating cutting device,and a secondary rotational orthogonal combination experiment was conducted using the peak cutting force as the evaluation index.[Result]The optimal combination of bonding parameters is a normal stiffness per unit area X1 of 2.705×10¹⁰,a tangential stiffness per unit area X2 of 2.24×10⁹,and a bonding radius X5 of 1.206.Under this optimal parameter combination,the relative error between the simulated maximum shear force and the measured average maximum shear force is 1.97%.The optimal combination of tool structure parameters is a rake angle of 28.57°,a cutting edge angle of 41.11°,and a tool thickness of 2.34 mm.Under the optimized structural parameters,the relative error between the maximum shear force obtained and the predicted value is 0.95%.[Conclusion]The calibration results of this discrete element model can provide a reference for the discrete element simulation of cutting hybrid poplar stems,and the optimized design results of the cutting blade can be used for the subsequent development of hybrid poplar harvesting equipment.关键词
