Abstract
Dural arteriovenous fistula(DAVF)refers to an abnormal communication between arteries and veins within the dura mater.The etiology of DAVF remains incompletely understood and may be associated with congenital vascular malformations,acquired venous sinus occlusion,craniocerebral trauma,infection,surgical procedures,and other factors.Imaging examinations are crucial for the diagnosis of DAVF,among which digital subtraction angiography(DSA)is the gold standard,while computed tomography angiography(CTA)and magnetic resonance angiography(MRA)can serve as adjunctive screening tools.Treatment options include conservative treatment,endovascular therapy,microsurgery,stereotactic radiotherapy,and hybrid surgery.Endovascular therapy is currently the main treatment modality.This article reviews the etiology,clinical manifestations,auxiliary examinations,and treatment methods of DAVF,especially those for complex DAVF.In addition,the combination of image fusion and multimodal imaging techniques can simplify diagnosis and optimize treatment.关键词
