Description of Two New Recorded Species of Agnidra from China(Lepidoptera:Drepanidae)

Abstract
[Objective]To investigate the taxonomy of Lepidoptera insects of the family Drepanidae in Lin-zhi City,Xizang,clarify the species composition and distribution of Drepanidae in this region,and enrich re-gional species diversity,thereby providing basic data for studying the evolution and phylogeny of Drepanid-ae insects.[Method]Species identification and classification were conducted using traditional taxonomic methods based on adult morphological characteristics as well as the external genitalia of both males and females.[Results]Two species were recorded from China for the first time:Agnidra Moore,1868,Agnidra vinacea Moore,1879 and Agnidra corticata Warren,1922.[Conclusion]The external morphology of adults,male and female genitalia and other characteristics of the two species were described in detail.Il-lustration of adults and genitalia,along with information on their geographical distribution,were provided.These findings enrich the species of Drepanidae in this area,which is of great significance to the ecologic-al environment work,and provides a basis for the sustainable utilization of Drepanidae insect resources and the prevention and control of agricultural and forestry pests in Xizang.All examined specimens are de-posited in the Institute of Plateau Ecology,Xizang Agricultural and Animal Husbandry University.关键词
