Abstract
As a crucial technical model for achieving sustainable agricultural development, the efficiency of conservation tillage adoption is significantly constrained by the level of agricultural machinery equipment. This study examines how agricultural machinery scrappage and replacement policies influence the adoption efficiency of conservation tillage tech-niques,proposing that such policies operate through dual pathways:the'equipment substitution effect'and the'invest-ment incentive effect'.On the one hand, these policies directly phase out energy-intensive,high-emission legacy machinery, creating market space for new, specialised equipment compliant with conservation tillage requirements(such as no-till seeders and deep loosening machines). On the other hand, the policy's financial subsidies lower the cost barrier for farmers to adopt advanced machinery, incentivising green investment. However, policy effectiveness is moder-ated by factors including regional supporting service capacity, farmer awareness levels, and the adequacy of specialised machinery supply.Relying solely on equipment replacement subsidies is insufficient to maximise adoption efficiency.Only through systematic coordination between the agricultural machinery scrappage and replacement policy, conservation tillage technology training, the establishment of after-sales service systems, and regional agricultural machinery R&D and promotion can the bottlenecks in technology dissemination be overcome, thereby more effectively driving the green and low-carbon transformation of agriculture.关键词
