Practical Research on Popular Science Capacity Building of Central-level Agricultural Machinery Research Institutes,Taking Nanjing Institute of Agricultural Mechanization,Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs as an Example

Abstract
China has put forward the strategic deployment of"putting scientific popularization in the same important position as scientific and technological innovation".As national strategic scientific and technological forces,central-level research institutes shoulder the dual mission of scientific and technological innovation and scientific popularization,so it is of vital importance to strengthen popular science capacity building.In the new era,China's popular science work has developed in an all-round way,and central-level research institutes have both advantages and challenges in carrying out popular science work.This paper analyzed the common problems existing in the popular science work of research institutes.Based on the popular science practice of central-level agricultural machinery research institutes and taking Nanjing Institute of Agricultural Mechanization,Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs as an example,it sorted out the practical paths and effects of its popular science work relying on platforms such as social organizations,exhibition centers and test bases by adopting the case study method.It put forward suggestions including improving the popular science work mechanism,optimizing incentive and guarantee measures,and strengthening the construction of talent teams,so as to provide practical reference for research institutes to improve their popular science capacity.关键词
