Abstract

Aiming at the problems of uneven yarn winding density distribution and large unwinding tension fluctuations in precision cross-winding on doubling machines,which are unfavorable for subsequent yarn processing,the research group constructed a mechanical model for precision cross-winding on doubling machines,and proposed a constant residual tension control method for precision cross-winding on doubling machines.The control method adjusted the speed of the overfeed motor in real time,achieving precise regulation of yarn tension and ensuring that the residual tension of each layer of yarn remains constant throughout the winding process.The MATLAB simulation analysis indicates that cones formed using the traditional constant pre-tension control method exhibit a large gradient in the internal residual tension distribution,which in turn affects the overall structural stability of the cones.The constant residual tension control method can effectively improve the structure stability of the cones.Comparative analysis of unwinding experiments on formed cones shows that,compared with cones formed under a constant pre-tension control strategy,those wound using the constant residual tension control method demonstrate a more stable structure,more uniform yarn winding density distribution,along with smaller unwinding tension fluctuations,providing a solid technological foundation for subsequent yarn processing.
