Vibration Characteristics of Cantilever Beams Based on Piezoelectric Actuators

Abstract
To address the engineering challenge of reduced system stability and reliability in lightweight,low-stiffness equipment under complex dynamic loads,the research team conducted in-depth studies on the vibration characteristics of cantilever beam structures with active piezoelectric actuator control.Based on dynamic theory and piezoelectric effect,a mechanical mechanism model for cantilever beams and piezoelectric cantilever beams was constructed.Through element-by-element stress analysis and derivation of piezoelectric-structural coupling relationships,a vibrational differential equation incorporating piezoelectric actuator parameter coupling was derived and established.Key physical parameters were identified,and the Runge-Kutta method was employed in MATLAB to perform multi-condition numerical simulations.The study systematically investigated the influence of piezoelectric actuator installation status,mounting position and deployment length on cantilever beam vibration response.The simulation results show that piezoelectric actuators significantly suppress cantilever beam vibrations through energy dissipation mechanisms,while mounting position and deployment length critically regulate vibration control performance.关键词
