Energy Consumption Simulation of Four-Chamber Energy-Saving Hydraulic Actuator System

Abstract
Aiming at the problems of significant throttling losses,high energy consumption,low system efficiency and lack of energy recovery in the existing hydraulic actuator system,a new four-chamber energy-saving hydraulic actuator system was designed by the research group.This system effectively reduces throttling and overflow losses,improves system efficiency,and enables the recovery and reuse of load energy by combining flow regeneration with energy storage in accumulators.Firstly,the core hydraulic components of the system were identified based on digital hydraulic technology,and a detailed system architecture was provided.Then,by comparing the main energy losses with those of traditional hydraulic systems,the energy-saving potential of the system in terms of component selection and operational methods was theoretically analyzed.Finally,a simulation model of the hydraulic system was established by using MATLAB/AMESim software and multi-condition experiments were conducted to obtain data on system working efficiency and energy recovery under different working conditions.The results show that under most working conditions,the four-chamber hydraulic actuator system achieves an efficiency of over 80.00%and possesses energy recovery capabilities,which verifies excellent energy-saving performance.This study provides a new approach for improving the efficiency of hydraulic actuator systems.关键词
