论宗气不足与小气道功能障碍
On the Insufficiency of Pectoral Qi and the Small Airway Dysfunction

Abstract
The small airways serve as a critical site for respiratory activity,and pectoral qi plays a pivotal role in maintaining their function.Pectoral qi"travels along the respiratory tract to govern breathing"and acts as the pivot of respiration.Pectoral qi"permeates the heart vessels to promote the circulation of qi and blood",serving as the driving force for gas exchange within the small airways.Furthermore,pectoral qi"governs all qi and stabilizes the viscera",functioning as the mainstay of small airway activity by preserving their structural integrity and physiological function.For patients with small airway dysfunction attributed to ancestral qi deficiency,treatment should focus on replenishing pectoral qi.Following the clinical experience of Professor HONG Guangxiang,a National Traditional Chinese Medicine Master,the therapeutic principle centers on the"method of tonifying pectoral qi",primarily utilizing the Buyuan Decoction(补元汤)as the base formula,supplemented with adjunctive herbs to resolve phlegm and turbidity,activate blood circu-lation to remove stasis,and strengthen the spleen and kidneys according to the specific syndrome presentation.One test case is attached.关键词
