Research Progress on Chemical Constituents and Medicinal Value of Different Parts of Pomegranate
摘要
Abstract
Pomegranate is one of the oldest cultivated fruit trees in the world.Its flowers,leaves,peel,seeds and juice are rich in sugars,fla-vonoids,polyphenols,alkaloids and other active ingredient,which have multiple effects such as anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,anti-tumor,hypoglycemic and anti-insect.The research progress on the chemical composition and current medicinal status of various parts of pomegran-ate at home and abroad is reviewed to provide reference for the rational development and utilisation of the rich pomegranate resources.关键词
