Research on Promoting the Development of Characteristic Agricultural Product Industries in Traditional Production Areas—A Case Study of the Shiitake Mushroom Industry in Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County,Liaoning Province

Abstract
The development of characteristic agricultural product industries holds significant economic,social,ecological,and cultural value,serving as a key driver for rural revitalization,the modernization of agriculture and rural areas,and high-quality regional economic growth.Taking the shiitake mushroom industry in Xiuyan county as a case study,this paper systematically analyzes the experiences and challenges in advancing the development of characteristic agricultural product industries in traditional production areas.The study finds that Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous county has achieved leapfrog development in its shiitake mushroom industry by establishing a'six-in-one'industrial support system-improving organizational structures,innovating risk management models,promoting off-season cultivation,extending deep-processing industrial chains,strengthening regional brand building,and enhancing socialized service networks.Currently,however,constrained by issues such as fiscal funding shortages and intense market competition,structural contradictions have emerged,including diminishing operational efficiency,insufficient growth momentum,and the decline of traditional production areas.To address these challenges,the paper proposes policy empowerment,technology-driven innovation,brand leadership,organizational innovation,and regulatory standardization to achieve the dual goals of industrial efficiency improvement and income growth for mushroom farmers.关键词
