Abstract
Objective To investigate the efficacy of optimizing radial artery compression force under digital pulse oximeter monitoring to prevent occlusion.Methods Two hundred patients undergoing radial artery access-based interventional procedures at our hospital were randomly assigned to an observation group(n=100)and a control group(n=100).The control group employed conventional radial artery compression techniques,while the observation group optimized compression intensity by monitoring the ulnar artery using a pulse oximeter.Radial artery occlusion(RAO)incidence,complication rates,oxygen saturation(SpO2),and pain intensity(VAS)were compared in two groups.Results The incidences of RAO and puncture site complications were lower in the observation group than in the control group(all P<0.05).Blood oxygen saturation was normal in both groups with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).The VAS score was low-er in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Optimizing radial artery compression intensity under digital pulse oximeter monitoring produces positive preventive effects against RAO,reduces other complication rates,improves compression efficacy and comfort,and demonstrates high clinical value.关键词
