Abstract
The main difficulties in the replacement process of the HGC(High-Precision Gauge Control)cylinder for the work roll of a 2250 hot rolling roughing mill in a steel plant lie in the disassembly,assembly,and transportation of the cylinder.This process is time-consuming and re-quires the erection of temporary scaffolding for replacement operations,which not only extends the maintenance period but also introduces safety hazards associated with working at heights.To address this problem,a corresponding HGC cylinder replacement device was developed and successfully ap-plied in on-site maintenance,effectively improving the construction efficiency of cylinder replace-ment.At the same time,the device provides a safe working platform,enhancing the intrinsic safety level of on-site construction and achieving good economic and social benefits.关键词
