Gastric cancer chemoprevention:hopes and challenges of aspirin,metformin,and other classic drugs
摘要
Abstract
Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant neoplasms worldwide,with nearly half of all new cases and deaths occurring in China annually.Helicobacter pylori(Hp)infection is a major risk factor for gastric cancer;however,Hp eradication does not completely prevent the occurrence of gastric cancer.In recent years,the relationship between aspirin,cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors,metformin,and statins and the risk of gastric cancer has garnered substantial attention.The epidemiological evidence,potential mechanisms of action,and clinical translation prospects of these drugs in relation to gastric cancer risk are systematically reviewed,and future research directions are proposed.关键词
