Abstract
To address problems such as high resistance,large pressure fluctuations,high en-ergy consumption,and poor cold retention effect in the daily operation of old air separation units,a systematic comprehensive investigation,diagnosis,and process revamping study was carried out.Through the investigation and diagnosis of equipment such as towers,pipelines,instrument lines,and supports inside the old air separation column,key problems including equipment aging,corro-sion,seal failure,and decreased rectification efficiency were accurately identified.Core process re-vamping was implemented based on this.After the revamping,the operational safety of the unit was significantly improved,the expander outlet pressure dropped to normal levels,and the purity of ni-trogen and argon was further enhanced.关键词
