Information Security Management and Collaborative Innovation in Manufacturing Enterprises:Empirical Analysis Based on ISO27001 Certification

Abstract
Driven by the need for the flow and sharing of capital,talent and technology,collaborative innovation has become a crucial pathway for the development and growth of enterprises in China.However,information security issues have emerged as a primary obstacle hindering inter-firm collaboration.Based on the data of China's A-share listed manufacturing companies from 2011 to 2022,this study empirically analyze the impact of information security management,specifically ISO27001 certification on collaborative innovation.The finding reveal that information security management significantly promotes collaborative innovation,and this positive effect strengthens over time.The influence of information security management on collaborative innovation operates through two compatible internal and external pathways:internally,it facilitates collaborative innovation by enhancing the degree of corporate digital transformation;externally,it increases firms' willingness to engage in collaborative innovation by reducing external information asymmetry.Furthermore,the positive effect of information security management on collaborative innovation is more pronounced in regions with a developed digital economy and a greater availability of certification institutions.The conclusions provide insights for information governance at the national level and for fostering collaborative innovation and healthy development at the enterprise level within the context of the digital economy.关键词
