Abstract
Objective:To explore the effect of failure mode and effect analysis(FMEA)combined with protection motivation theory(PMT)nursing in tumor chemotherapy patients with indwelling of implantable venous access port(IVAP).Method:A total of 118 patients with IVAP indwelling who underwent tumor chemotherapy in Taixing People's Hospital were enrolled from May 2021 to December 2023.According to random number table method,they were divided into observation group and control group.The control group(n=59)was given routine nursing,while observation group(n=59)was given FMEA combined with PMT nursing.All were intervened for 3 months.The risk priority number(RPN),SAS,SDS,general self-efficacy scale(GSES)and Kolcaba general comfort questionnaire(GCQ)before and after intervention,incidence of complications and score of satisfaction with nursing were compared between the two groups.Result:After intervention,RPN,scores of SAS and SDS were decreased in both groups,which those were lower in observation group than control group(P<0.05),after intervention,scores of GSES and GCQ were increased,which were higher in observation group than control group(P<0.05).During intervention,incidence of complications in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group(P<0.05).After intervention,scores of nursing satisfaction in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of FMEA combined with PMT nursing can effectively reduce IVAP related risk,alleviate negative emotions,improve self-efficacy and comfort,reduce complications and improve nursing satisfaction in patients with IVAP indwelling after tumor chemotherapy.关键词
