Abstract
To meet the requirements of high efficiency,high stability,and miniaturization for the power supply system of spaceborne traveling wave tube amplifiers(TWTAs),a 300W pre-regulated BOOST converter is devel-oped.Based on the traditional BOOST circuit,an auxiliary resonant branch is added to the converter.Through the coordination of the main and auxiliary loops,zero-voltage switching(ZVS)of the main MOSFET is achieved.Combined with the selection of low-loss components,the conversion efficiency is increased from 92%of the tradi-tional hard-switching circuit to over 94%(a maximum of 97%).The PSpice simulation and experimental tests in-dicate that under an input voltage range of 35~45 V(adapting to the bus voltage of spaceborne solar cells),an out-put voltage of 50 V,and a load range of 75~300 W,the converter exhibits stable output voltage with compact structure and light weight,which can meet the requirements of spaceborne equipment.The converter provides a sta-ble input for subsequent isolated DC-DC converters and improves the overall efficiency and reliability of space-borne TWTAs.关键词
