Research Progress on"Elemental Fingerprint"Based Traceability Techniques for the Geographical Origin of Tea

Abstract
China's vast tea-growing regions exhibit distinct environmental characteristics,resulting in unique region-al tea profiles.Verifying the origin of tea has become a key challenge for high-quality industry development and brand protection.The"elemental fingerprint"approach,based on stable isotopes and mineral elements,captures the geochemical signature of the growing environment and is widely regarded as one of the most promising methods for tea origin tracing.This review summarized recent advances in using"elemental fingerprint"technology for au-thenticating tea origins in China,including the application of stable isotopes,mineral elements,and their coupled approaches,as well as the key factors influencing tea isotope compositions and elemental profiles.It provided a the-oretical foundation and methodological reference for origin protection,geographic indication regulation,and optimi-zation of tracing systems.关键词
