Abstract
To improve production efficiency and reduce wastewater discharge in the vacuum filtration molding process for manufacturing combustible cartridge cases,an ionic dispersant was added to the slurry.When the mass fraction of slurry was increased from 0.5%to 1.0%,the sedimentation speed of the slurry decreased by nearly half.The mechani-cal and combustion properties of molded combustible cartridge cases with increased slurry mass fraction were investigated by vacuum-filtered wet preforms,hot-press forming,and constant-volume combustion tests.Wet preforms prepared from the dispersant-stabilized slurry exhibits improved mass uniformity.The mechanical properties of the molded combustile cartridge cases are comparable to those produced by the current process,and combustion behavior remains normal.These indicate that raising the slurry mass fractions can increase production efficiency and reduce wastewater generation while maintaining the quality of molded combustible cartridge cases.关键词
