Abstract
In recent years,Japan's judgment on the military and security landscape of Northeast Asia has become markedly severe.Japan argues that amid the general backdrop of the collapsing liberal international order,it is surrounded by two nuclear powers——China and Russia,as well as a de facto nuclear-armed DPRK,facing so-called structural and bloc-based pressure and even threats. At the same time, unlike in the past,U.S.policy toward Japan is full of uncertainties, and the Japan-U.S.alliance is no longer an inherent premise and established condition for Japan's security guarantee.Based on its perception of the strategic security environment and geopolitical situation in Northeast Asia,Japan is,on the one hand, breaking free from the constraints of the post-war system, raising its defense budget, building cross-domain and full-domain operational capabilities, and particularly developing long-range strike forces. On the other hand,it is striving to anchor the United States, tying the U.S.down by demonstrating its strategic value and tactical utility, and keeping the United States engaged in Asia-Pacific affairs and interfering in the cross-strait situation.Meanwhile,Japan has vigorously advanced the construction of a regional security cooperation network centered on"minilateralism"and"quasi-alliances".关键词
