Abstract
To address the problems of unstable glazing quality,low efficiency,and difficulty in integrating into automated lines when glazing the heads of cylindrical-head disc-type suspension porcelain insula-tors,a comprehensive solution based on the"double-layer speed-up chain conveying system+PLC centralized control"was proposed.A multi-station automatic glazing production line integrating mechan-ical transmission,electrical control,and sensing detection was designed.The author elaborates on(1)the coordinated logistics and multi-station workflow(loading,positioning,glazing,flipping,unloa-ding);(2)the design of key mechanical modules such as a flexible self-centering positioning mecha-nism and a servo-driven swing-arm flipping device;and(3)a PLC-centered measurement-and-control system that uses probe-electrode sensing to provide real-time glaze-level feedback and accu-rate servo control of the glazing operation.Seven months of continuous industrial operation shows that the line runs stably,achieves a cycle time≤25 s per piece,and maintains glaze-layer height deviation within±1.0 mm,achieves fully eliminating manual intervention.The process validation on 840 DC products of four types confirmed that their electrical and mechanical performance meets GB/T 19443-2017,indicating that the mechatronics product line can effectively improve the quality,efficiency,and automation level of insulator glazing process,providing a useful reference solution for the design of intelli-gent manufacturing units for similar production equipment.关键词
