芪归止痒颗粒对老年皮肤瘙痒症临床症状及皮肤屏障功能影响
Study on the Effects of Qigui Antipruritic Granules on Clinical Symptoms and Skin Barrier Function in Senile Pruritus

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of Qigui Antipruritic Granules on clinical symptoms and skin barrier function in patients with senile pruritus of blood deficiency wind dryness syndrome,and to provide a safe and effective treatment option for the clinical management of senile pruritus.Methods A total of 100 patients with senile pruritus of blood deficiency wind dryness syndrome were randomly divided into two groups:the experimental group and the control group,with 50 patients in each group.The experimental group was treated with oral Qigui Antipruritic Granules,while the control group received oral Runzao Zhiyang Capsules,both for a treatment period of 4 weeks.The itching symptom scores(including itching intensity,itching area,and itching frequency)and skin barrier function indicators(skin dryness score,stratum corneum hydration,and transepidermal water loss)were observed before and after treatment in both groups.Safety evaluations were also conducted.Results After treatment,the itching symptom scores in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The skin dryness score was significantly reduced(P<0.05),stratum corneum hydration was significantly increased(P<0.05),and transepidermal water loss was significantly decreased(P<0.05)in the experimental group compared to the control group.No significant abnormalities were observed in the safety indicators of either group,and only one patient in the experimental group experienced mild nausea,which resolved after discontinuation of the medication.Conclusion Qigui Antipruritic Granules can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and skin barrier function in elderly patients with senile pruritus of blood deficiency wind dryness syndrome,with good safety and tolerability,making it a safe and effective treatment option.关键词
