Abstract
Based on the theory of"dysphagia"of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),this article explored the etiology and pathogenesis of esophageal cancer.It holds that the disease pertains to the syndrome of deficiency in origin and excess in superficiality.Qi-yin deficiency,liver depression and spleen deficiency constitute the internal pathogenic foundation,while accumulated cancerous toxin acts as the core pathological factor.This article explored the clinical experience of treating esophageal cancer of the middle jiao cold deficiency and phlegm qi obstruction type by using Dabanxia decoction from Jingui Yaolue as the basic formula,combined with the therapeutic methods of replenishing qi and harmonizing the stomach,descending counterflow qi to arrest vomiting,and detoxifying and resolving masses.It also listed characteristic medicinal herbs for this disease,such as sal ammoniac and rabdosia rubescens.A proved case was attached.The results showed that the modified formula could relieve symptoms such as dysphagia and improve patients'quality of life,which provides an effective reference for the TCM in the treatment of esophageal cancer.关键词
