Discussion on the Law of Treating Different Diseases with the Same Method for Digestive System Inflammatory Diseases Based on Data Mining Techniques

Abstract
Objective To systematically review ancient Chinese medical literature of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)on digestive system inflammatory diseases,identify their common pathogenesis and core therapeutic principles,and provide empirical evidence for the theory of"treating different diseases with the same method".Methods The scope of TCM disease nomenclature was defined with reference to the Dictionary of TCM-Western Medicine Disease Name Comparisons.Texts from 59 representative physicians spanning 221 BCE to 1919 CE were selected.Disease name retrieval,text extraction,and annotation were performed using the"TCM Classics Knowledge Mining and Dissemination Platform".Frequency analysis and association rule mining were conducted using R Studio.Results Pathologically,dampness pathogen was the dominant pathogenic factor,accounting for 12.92%,followed by qi deficiency,heat pathogen and cold pathogen.In terms of treatment methods,qi-regulating therapy was the most frequently used,and tonifying therapy as well as heat-clearing therapy also showed high application frequency.Cluster analysis indicated that dampness-removing therapy and heat-clearing therapy were synergistically applied in a variety of diseases with significant correlation.Conclusion In ancient medical literatures,inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and liver shared a common pathogenesis centered on dampness pathogen and qi deficiency,with qi regulation as the basic therapeutic principle.The combined application of dampness-eliminating and heat-clearing therapies embodied the syndrome differentiation thinking of"treating different diseases with the same method".关键词
