摘要
Abstract
Objective This article reports the diagnosis,treatment,and prognosis of a case of cavernous sinus thrombosis secondary to chronic sinusitis following COVID-19 infection in a patient with uremic,aiming to provide experience for the early clinical identification and treatment of cavernous sinus thrombosis(CST)and to enhance clinicians'understanding of this disease.Methods The clinical data of a patient with uremia who developed cavernous sinus thrombosis secondary to COVID-19 infection were retrospectively reviewed.Due to delayed diagnosis,the treatment did not result in significant symptomatic relief.Results The patient's family refused further examinations and all invasive rescue measures,resulting in the patient's death.Conclusions Early and rapid diagnosis along with timely treatment may reduce the mortality rate of this disease.关键词
