摘要

Abstract

To investigate the horizontal Zmaneuvering performance of a vector pumpjet propulsion system,a specific model of a pumpjet vector propulsion submersible was selected as the research subject.Utilizing moving mesh technol-ogy,the Navier-Stokes equations,and the SST kε turbulence model,numerical predictions of the submersible's mo-tion characteristics were conducted.The numerical method was validated against tank thrust experiments performed on the pumpjet vector propulsion submersible.A dynamic model for Zmaneuvering of the vector pumpjet submersible was established,and the effects of varying rotational speeds and vector jet angles on Zmaneuvering performance were inves-tigated.The study revealed that,given a fixed vector jet angle and motion period,the rotational speed is positively cor-related with both the turning radius and the wavelength.Under the same motion period and rotational speed,the vector jet angle also exhibits a positive correlation with the turning radius and the wavelength.When the vector jet angle con-tinuously varies with the motion period,the submersible performs a Ztype maneuvering motion,and the motion period is negatively correlated with the turning radius.This research fills a gap in the study of lowspeed maneuverability for vector pumpjet propulsion submersibles.By establishing a comprehensive numerical simulation model and experimen-tal validation methodology,it enhances the submersible's adaptability to complex navigation and its maneuvering capa-bility,providing crucial support for optimizing practical application performance and advancing related technologies.
