Al8Mn5化合物制备及其提高铝合金耐蚀性机理的研究
Preparation of Al8Mn5 intermetallic powder and its mechanism for improving aluminum alloy corrosion resistance

Abstract
Micron-scale Al8Mn5 intermetallic powder was prepared by vacuum arc melting and high-energy ball milling.The composition,microstructure,and thermal stability of the Al8Mn5 intermetallic were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction,and differential thermal analysis.Combined with corrosion experiments and first-principles calculations,the mechanism by which Al8Mn5 addition enhances the corrosion resistance of commercial purity aluminum containing iron impurity was studied.The results show that bulk Al8Mn5 intermetallic was successfully prepared by vacuum arc melting according to its chemical formula.The bulk Al8Mn5 intermetallic does not undergo phase transformation during high-energy ball milling and remains stable before 900℃.Adding Al8Mn5 intermetallic to commercial purity aluminum containing iron impurity can greatly improve the corrosion resistance.First-principles calculations show that iron atoms can replace Mn atoms in the Al8Mn5 crystal and form an Al8(Mn,Fe)5 substitutional solid solution to improve the corrosion resistance of pure Al.关键词
