Abstract
With the development of the petrochemical industry,crude oil tends to deteriorate in properties,with higher impurity content,leading to increasingly severe scaling issues in heat exchange equipment.In response to this situation,a series of experimental studies were conducted on the scaling characteristics of coking-prone feedstock oil in the feedstock heat exchanger of the S-Zorb unit.The Ebert,Panchal,Polley and Nasr fouling deposition models were established for coking-prone feedstock oil,and the accuracy of the four models was compared and analyzed based on experimental data.The experimental results show that under certain other operating conditions,the scaling rate decreases as the stirring Reynolds number and bulk temperature increase,the scaling rate significantly accelerates as the initial heat transfer surface temperature rises.The average relative deviations between the predicted scaling rates of the Ebert,Panchal,Polley and Nasr models and the experimental measurements are 63.5%,24.0%,21.6%and 24.9%,respectively,with the Polley model demonstrating higher accuracy.Among them,only the Polley model predicts a trend in the impact of bulk temperature on the scaling rate that is consistent with experimental results.关键词
