沙门菌噬菌体SP8的生物学特性及抑菌效果评估
Biological characteristics and bacteriostatic efficacy evaluation of Salmonella phage SP8

Abstract
To explore the potential of bacteriophage as a new antimicrobial agent for Salmonella,using Salmonella C50041 as the host bacteria,a lytic Salmonella phage SP8 was purified and its biological characteristics were analyzed,and its antibacterial effect was evaluated.The results showed that Salmonella phage SP8 contained head and tail,belong-ing to Siphoviridae.Its titer was 1.7× 108 PFU·mL-1,the optimal number of infections was 0.001,the incubation peri-od and lysis period were 40 and 180 min,respectively.Seven strains that could specifically lyse serotypes of Salmonella enteritidis had good stability at pH 2-12 and temperature 37-60℃,in vitro coculture with Salmonella or in milk and chicken breast contaminated with high doses of Salmonella showed significant antibacterial effect.To sum up,Salmonel-la phage SP8 had the advantages of high specificity for Salmonella enteritidis,strong ability to infect host bacteria,strong viability and so on,which suggested that Salmonella phage SP8 has application prospect in the prevention and con-trol of Salmonella.关键词
