Influence of Cultural Capital on Family Participation in the School-Family-Society Collaborative Education Mechanism

Abstract
Enhancing family participation is a critical issue in optimizing the school-family-society collaborative education mechanism.Cultural cap-ital plays a significant role in shaping family participation in this mechanism.To explore this mechanism,this study constructs a moderated mediation mod-el and conducts a questionnaire survey involving 835 families.The results showed that:(1)after controlling for household registration status,cultural cap-ital significantly and positively predicts the degree of family participation in the home-school-society collaborative education mechanism;(2)families' perceptions of this mechanism partially mediate the relationship between cultural capital and the degree of participation;and(3)school and society sup-port significantly and negatively moderates both the direct effect of cultural capital on participation and the first stage of the mediating pathway.From the perspective of cultural capital,the study reveals the causes of differences in family participation and offers practical suggestions for enhancing families' willingness to engage in school-family-society collaborative education.关键词
