All People Are My Brothers and Sisters, and All Things Are My Companions:Reflection and Transcendence of Life Education for the Elderly
摘要
Abstract
As population aging continues to intensify, the quality of life and spiritual pursuit of the elderly are increasingly becoming core issues of growing social concern.Elderly life education, with life itself as its central focus, represents an effective response to improving the quality of life and en-hancing the meaning, while also bearing the contemporary mission of promoting active aging. However,at present, life education for the elderly in China is confronted with multiple dilemmas that run counter to its core philosophy of embracing life through an awareness of mortality. To address these dilem-mas,it is necessary to introduce the modern philosophical perspective of"all people are my brothers and sisters, and all things are my companions"and to renew traditional educational concepts from three dimensions:the epistemological question of what to teach, the ontological question of why to teach, and the practical question of how to teach. On this basis, this study proposes an"L3E three-stage"teaching model characterized by equality,inclusive-ness,and symbiotic integration among educators, elderly learners, and the natural world, with the aim of guiding the elderly toward spiritual transcend-ence from the"individual self"to the"greater self".关键词
