农业生产区域专业化的增收效应研究
Income-increasing effect of regional specialization of agricultural production:evidence from survey data of five provinces in Bohai Rim vegetable production zone

Abstract
Based on 691 survey data from the main vegetable production areas in the Bohai Rim,this study employs ordinary least squares(OLS)and instrumental variable(IV)methods to empirically analyze the impact and mechanisms of village-level regional specialization in agricultural production on rural households'income.The results show that regional specialization in agricultural production significantly promotes income growth among rural households.One standard deviation increase in regional specialization in vegetable production corresponds to approximately a 3.67％rise of rural households'income,which remains valid after a series of robustness tests.Mechanism analysis shows that experience and technology spillover,transaction cost reduction,sales channel expansion,and local brand development are important channels for the regional specialization of agricultural production to exert its income-increasing effect.Heterogeneity analysis further reveals that demonstration-led regional specialization has a stronger income-promoting effect,while the income effect of regional specialization dominated by concentrated smallholder production is relatively weaker.Additional analysis indicates that the income-increasing effect of regional specialization of agricultural production shows no significant differences among farmer groups with different operation scales,livelihood strategies and intergenerational differentiation of labor force,demonstrating inclusive characteristics.Accordingly,this study recommends that in order to further enhance farmers'incomes,regional specialization in agricultural industries should be promoted,the development of advantageous production zones be encouraged for key agricultural products,the dissemination and adoption of advanced technologies be advanced,the creation of regional public brands be supported,and agricultural value chains be continuously extended.关键词
