Expert consensus on detection and molecular typing for traceability of Bordetella pertussis infection(2025)
摘要
Abstract
Pertussis is an acute respiratory infectious disease caused by Bordetella pertussis,with humans serving as the sole host of this bacterium.The disease poses a serious threat to population health,particularly endangering the lives of infants and young children.In recent years,a global resurgence of pertussis has been observed.Since 2018,the reported incidence rate of pertussis in China has shown an upward trend year by year,and a sharp increase in the number of national cases occurred in 2024,indicating a severe epidemic pre-vention and control situation.The current testing standards lag behind practical needs,and there is a lack of u-nified specifications for typing and traceability techniques,which impairs precise epidemic prevention and con-trol.This consensus integrates domestic and international research advances and systematically elaborates on specimen collection,laboratory testing,antimicrobial susceptibility testing,typing and traceability techniques,and biosafety requirements for Bordetella pertussis.Targeted health prevention and control recommendations are also proposed,aiming to provide a reference for the precise diagnosis,epidemiological surveillance,and sci-entific prevention and control of pertussis.关键词
