Research on Flexible Design of Campus Sports Venues Based on the"Sports Container"Paradigm:A Case Study of the Basketball Gymnasium of Yuying Middle School in Jinjiang

Abstract
Traditional Chinese school sports facilities often exist in isolated building forms,which can lead to fragmented sports spaces,limited usage scenarios,and disconnection from the school sports system.This paper uses the basketball semi-final venue of Quanzhou Yuying High School for the 2022 World Middle School Games as an empirical sample and proposes the"sports container"design paradigm.It repositions the gymnasium from a single venue to a core carrier that activates the overall school sports system.Through three core strategies—boundary dissolution,functional flexibility adaptation,and hierarchical flow control—it achieves the symbiotic linkage between the venue and the school sports system,full-cycle scenario compatibility,and school-community sharing adaptation.This approach allows a single venue to drive surrounding sports facilities to form an integrated sports field,providing a practical reference path for the systematic design of school sports facilities.关键词
