Abstract
A memorial hall is a building that commemorates the deeds and achievements of individuals and promotes their spiritual qualities.Through case analysis and literature review,theme extraction and expression are the core conceptual ideas in the architectural design of a memorial for a figure.By examining classic examples,this study explores the relationship between personality traits and architectural design,analyzes design conflicts including personality complexity versus spatial clarity,and life experiences versus narrative organization.Four design principles are proposed:external environment integration,functional space localization,narrative-driven circulation systems,and symbolic architectural forms.The research explores thematic expression strategies for memorial hall architecture,providing foundational insights for future practical design applications.关键词
