Abstract

The Ke'eryin lithium ore field,located in the central-eastern part of the Songpan-Garze Orogenic Belt,is a major pegmatite-type lithium ore concentration area in China.Its topographic and geomorphic conditions of high altitude,deeply incised valleys,and thick overburden constitute the primary challenges for mineral explora-tion.As an important branch of geophysical exploration methods,the high-density electrical method features high resolution,large-volume data acquisition,and high visualization of results.It can effectively detect the physical property differences between ore-bearing geological bodies and country rocks,demonstrating unique advantages in the identification and localization of concealed ore veins.To address the difficulties in exploring deep concealed ore veins within the ore field,this paper takes the Jiada Lithium Mine in the eastern part and the Guanyinqiao Lithium Mine in the western part of the field as research objects,systematically conducts ap-plied geophysical research using the high-density electrical method,summarizes the findings,and verifies its feasibility.The results indicate that the high-density electrical method can effectively distinguish the resistivity differences between pegmatite veins and country rocks.On this basis,high-resistivity anomalous zones are de-lineated.Precise tracing of the deep extension of ore bodies has been achieved in both the northern and south-ern parts of the Jiada Lithium Mine,while the distribution characteristics of No.12 and No.13 pegmatite veins in the Guanyinqiao Lithium Mine have been identified..Drilling verification shows that the geophysical anoma-lies are highly consistent with the ore bodies,with a 100%ore-interception rate.Several blind pegmatite ore bodies have been intercepted,resulting in effective growth of lithium resources.The application has promoted an increase of more than 600,000 tons of Li 2 O resources in the Jiada lithium deposit,making it a super-large lithium deposit.This method achieves remarkable application effects and can provide a mature technical refer-ence for deep exploration of pegmatite-type lithium deposits in the entire Songpan-Garze metallogenic belt and adjacent areas with similar topographic and geomorphic conditions.It is of great practical significance for sup-porting the new round of strategic prospecting breakthrough action and ensuring the security of national lithium resource supply.
