Abstract
This paper presents a case study of a gas transmission pipeline crossing the Yellow River in restricted terrain.The river-crossing section is located in a U-shaped canyon.Elastic laying is adopted for pipeline pullback according to the terrain conditions,and the curvature radius of elastic laying is designed to be 1 000 times the outer diameter of the pulled-back pipeline.An isolated steel casing is installed in the exit section of the directional drilling to isolate the pebble layer.The steel casing is of grade L485M,with an outer diameter of 1 524 mm,a wall thickness of 26 mm,and an impact driving force of 20 000 kN.Accord-ing to the designed pullback force,a drilling rig with a pullback force of no less than 2 600 kN can meet the construction requirements for pipeline pullback in the crossing project.The proposed design scheme for gas transmission pipeline crossing the Yellow River in restricted terrain has been successfully applied to the directional drilling crossing of the U-shaped canyon of the Yellow River,which verifies the rationality of the scheme.关键词
