老年2型糖尿病患者治疗决策的旅程地图研究
Patient journey map of treatment decision-making for elderly patients with type 2 diabetes
摘要
Abstract
Objective To identify the predicaments and demands of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)during the treatment decision-making process based on patient journey mapping,and to provide references for optimizing individualized treatment strategies.Methods A descriptive qualitative research was performed.From January to April 2024,18 elderly T2DM patients were selected for semi-structured interviews.Data were analyzed using content analysis,and a patient journey map was developed.Results The treatment decision-making process of the patients was divided into three phases:"Alertness and Awareness","Diagno-sis and Decision-making",and"Management and Follow-up".Twenty-two themes were identified and visualized through the journey mapping.Conclusion The treatment decision-making pathway of elderly T2DM patients is by multi-stage,complex,and dynamic.It is suggested that the applicability of patient journey map be further verified in a larger and multi-center population in the future to achieve dynamic monitoring and precise support for the treatment decision-making of elderly T2DM patients,and to improve patient compliance and quality of life.关键词
