Ecological Cultivation Technology and Management of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi,a Genuine Medicinal Material in Western Jilin Province

Abstract
The western region of Jilin Province has a fragile ecological environment,where poverty and ecological degradation are interconnected and have become the core bottleneck restricting regional sustainable development.Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi,a genuine medicinal herb in this area,possesses both excellent ecological adaptability and significant medicinal and economic value.Its standardized ecological cultivation is an effective pathway to achieve coordinated development of ecological restoration and economic growth.This study,based on the Taonan State-owned Forest Protection Station in Jilin Province,established a 10-hectare standardized demonstration base for Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi.Through systematic experimental studies on cultivation technology optimization,standardized field management,and green pest and disease control,an ecological cultivation technology system adapted to regional ecological conditions was developed.The results show that the survival rate of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi in the demonstration base can reach over 75％,with a per-hectare yield of 2,000 kg,significantly improving regional vegetation coverage and ecosystem stability.This study can provide technical support and a demonstration model for the ecological cultivation of genuine medicinal herbs in ecologically fragile areas of western Jilin Province and similar regions in northern China,and holds important theoretical and practical significance for promoting the transformation of the forestry industry,supporting the implementation of rural revitalization strategies,and advancing ecological civilization.关键词
